This training kit is available in English, and is intended to provide teachers with the basic knowledge regarding the presence of worm and/or schistosome infections in their area. Once they have completed this half-day training they should be able to do the following: identify how these infections damage health, be aware of how to prevent infection and illness, know how to answer questions from children/parents, know the safety of the drugs they will distribute, organize a drug administration at school, disseminate health education messages, reach non-enrolled school-age children during the campaign, and fill in the forms for reporting.
